Hamari Duniya Mahila Sangathan

Hamari Duniya Mahila Sangathan (HDMS) is a group of 100 weaver women from BVS who contributes INR 5 monthly and is involved in various social welfare activities for the weavers and for women weavers in particular. Hamari Duniya undertakes activities for the welfare and development of the weavers and thier families. Some of the rcent activities include following.

Education

HDMS organises adult literacy classes for women in Patkoiya, Baahar Sahar, Pasihapura and Pranpur villages in the chanderi area. Each teaching centre is housed in one learner's house and is served by one volunteer teacher. 

Health workshop

HDMS have organised four health workshops for the men and women. Invited doctors talked about health issues, occupational disorders for women weavers, adolescent health and reproductive health issues etc.
